Swarovski has been the premium brand for the world’s finest crystals since 1895 and these are the stars in the new collection of crystal cuts, colours and effects from Swarovski Crystal for India Bridal Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2015 .... Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla presented a unique fashion tableau to open BMW India Bridal Fashion Week in association with Swarovski. The show and collections pay homage to Varanasi, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Also known as Banaras or Kashi, this is a city steeped in legend, mythology, culture and history. The collections are designed to showcase the rich legacy of silks, brocades, gold and silver thread work carpet weaving that the city is renowned for. These magnificent traditional fabrics and motifs have found new expression through the dazzle & glamour of Swarovski crystals.

The silhouette is inspired from the strong yet controlled structural architecture, which brings out precious assets throughout the collection, in its stylishly varied forms, epitomizing glamour, sexiness and sophistication. The textures derive their distinct character from the earthy tones of the fort walls, further transpiring into intricate layers of laser cuts, flowing into the exquisite interiors of the “Sheesh Mahal” , brought to life by immaculate usage of Swarovski Crystals.

The Suneet Varma collection for Fall 2015 is based on the grandeur of the Ottoman Empire and the beautiful poetry of the renowned poet Omar Khayyam who was one of the greatest Persian philosophers and poet who wrote the love couplets in The Rubaiyat. Adorned with Swarovski crystals, this couture collection is based on the arts and literature of Persia - The love poems, the lyrical motifs, the decorative arts in architecture, the Persian blues, the soft pastels and the nostalgic shades of gold and rose. The accessories and are a very important part of the show and styling today. They are designed and handmade for this collection. Head dresses in beaten metal in antique shades of gold, ornate pieces of Meenakari jewelry and Swarovski crystals add drama to the presentation.
